Role of Plea Bargaining in Georgian Legal Proceeding

On May 11, 14:00, Ilia State University will host a public lecture on “Role of Plea Bargaining in Georgian Legal Proceeding and its Related Consequences” by Kevetan Jachvadze, Judge at Tbilisi City Court Criminal Litigation Board. Ms. Jachvadze will talk about the history of plea bargaining, it’s key advantages and disadvantages. As well, she will discuss how the court control is provided in the process of plea bargaining, how the plea bargaining is signed among the parts and what are the main judicial outcomes.
