Trauma and Collective Memory

Bookstore Ligamus (Chavchavdze 32) presents a public discussion around the topic “April 9: Trauma and Collective Memory”, this Wednesday, April 9, 5 p.m. The aim of the discussion is to consider April 9 from a historical viewpoint and talk about different experiences and perspectives related to the event. Additionally, the ways how we remember the event and how this traumatic memory affects modern society will be the topics of discussion.

Ilia State University professors, Nino Pirtskalava, Emzar Jgerenaia and Nodar Ladaria will participate in the discussion.
Audience may get actively involved in the discussion.
