Switzerland as a Special Case

On November 28, Paul Widmer, an outstanding diplomat and scientist, will visit Ilia State University.

Paul Widmer will deliver a public lecture on “Case of Switzerland: Democracy and Neutrality” at 17:30 (Venue: Ilia State University, Chavchavadze Ave. 32, Hall A101).

After the lecture, at 19:00, the presentation of the Georgian translation of Paul Widmer’s book “Switzerland as a Special Case” will be organized as well. The book illustrates the political, social and cultural history of Switzerland with the purpose of answering the following questions: “Why is Switzerland a unique case? What is the main idea that it represents?” (Venue: Chavchavadze Ave. 32, ISU Bookstore “Ligamus”).
