International workshop “Looking Back and Ahead: Turkey and Georgia in Global History and Modern Turbulent Times”

On June 16, an international workshop titled “Looking Back and Ahead: Turkey and Georgia in Global History and Modern Turbulent Times” will be held at the G. Tsereteli Institute of Oriental Studies at Ilia State University, in partnership with Hacettepe University in Ankara. Georgian and Turkish researchers will participate in the workshop.

Annotation

The event aims to deepen academic cooperation between Georgia and Türkiye, promote the exchange of scholarly experience, and encourage academic dialogue on the historical and contemporary challenges. The event is expected to contribute to the development of future academic partnerships and joint research initiatives between Georgian and Turkish scholars.
