
International Workshop “Georgian Folklore and Issues of Comparative Narratalogy” takes place August 11-16, in Ilia State University E401 hall. Professor Vinker Pifout (Vienna/ Zurich) and Professor Elgudja Dadunashvili (Tbilisi/Jena) will conduct the workshop. Jena University students will participate in the workshop. Georgian students are considered for participation also. Language used – German.
The following is planned in scope of the workshop:
August 11-12: Theoretical work in Ilia State University
August 13: Field trip to Shota Rustaveli Georgian Literature Museum folklore archives
Agust14: Field trip to Mtskheta city-museum
August 15-17: Field research in the regions (location to be specified)
