Drones Technology

The workshop on Drone technologies will be hold at Ilia State University, within the framework of the ERASMUS+ Project – “Educational for Drone” (eDrone 574090-EPP-1-2016-1-IT-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP).

Meeting topics:

• Various ways of using Drones (Presentations – Partner universities of the project);
• New Regulation of Drones (Georgian Civil Aviation Agency);
• Use of drones in Commercial, Construction and Rescue Operations (Teona Chachua – Copter Representative);
• The Greeting of Ambassadors of Italy and Poland;

About the eDrone project:

The main goal of the project is to establish an Office of Educational Drones (OEDs) in the higher education institutions of the partner countries, which enables the sharing of professional knowledge on drones technologies and the creation of a Vacation and Training Course (VET).

The result of the project is to develop specific skills and components in the partner countries in relation to drones, which on the one hand creates new job market opportunities and on the other hand provides professionals with drone management and training activities.
