Modern Armenians represent a distinct, enduring lineage shaped in antiquity and preserved through history.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the speaker<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Harutyun Khudanyan is a researcher at the Department of Ancient History of the Institute of History of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia. His academic interests focus on Oriental and ancient sources, Armenian-Georgian relations, the ancient history of the Armenian people and the region, particularly the history and culture of Urartu.
