The program will feature masterpieces of Polish Sonorism alongside a new work composed specifically for this duo by young Georgian composer Elene Gogodze.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The concert seeks to engage young composers with Sonorism, a Polish music movement that was predominant in the 1960s. It was the time of sonoristic experiments by composers such as Krzysztof Penderecki, Henryk Miko\u0142aj G\u00f3recki, Kazimierz Serocki, or Witold Szalonek. This style of music focuses on the origin of sound, its tonal color, duration, and sonority.
