{"id":16117,"date":"2023-05-10T12:22:32","date_gmt":"2023-05-10T08:22:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/events.iliauni.edu.ge\/event\/the-blood-donation-day-at-iliauni\/"},"modified":"2024-02-02T13:08:15","modified_gmt":"2024-02-02T09:08:15","slug":"the-blood-donation-day-at-iliauni","status":"publish","type":"tribe_events","link":"https:\/\/events.iliauni.edu.ge\/en\/event\/the-blood-donation-day-at-iliauni\/","title":{"rendered":"THE BLOOD DONATION DAY AT ILIAUNI"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Blood Donation Day will be held in the buildings A and T of Iliauni on May 16 , it will be organized by the Department of Student Affairs of Ilia State University.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the campaign, the mobile teams of the &#8220;Natalia Kvantaliani Central Blood Bank&#8221; and &#8220;Sicockhle&#8221; organizations, staffed by professional, experienced doctors, will offer those who wish to selflessly donate blood and thus show their support for people who need help.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Any person between the ages of 18 and 65 can become a blood donor if:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>more than 2 weeks have passed since being infected with the coronavirus<\/li>\n<li>more than 2 weeks have passed since the vaccination against coronavirus<\/li>\n<li>your weight is 50 kg or more;<\/li>\n<li>you have not been infected with viral hepatitis B and C;<\/li>\n<li>syphilis, tuberculosis;<\/li>\n<li>you are not infected with HIV;<\/li>\n<li>you do not have blood or oncological diseases;<\/li>\n<li>you are not a drug user;<\/li>\n<li>you have not undergone a surgical operation, you have not been vaccinated against tetanus and rabies in the last 1 year;<\/li>\n<li>you have not gotten a tattoo in the last 6 months;<\/li>\n<li>you have not had contact with other people&#8217;s blood;<\/li>\n<li>you have not been pregnant in the last 6 months;<\/li>\n<li>the donor must be practically healthy on the day of donation &#8211; must not have a fever, runny nose, catarrh, or other flu-like symptoms.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Those who participate in the charity event will receive the following research results free of charge:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>General blood analysis<\/li>\n<li>Group, rhesus, phenotype<\/li>\n<li>Hepatitis B and C, syphilis, cytomegalovirus and AIDS virus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>A person who is going to donate should know the following:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Blood donation is an easy, safe and painless process;<\/li>\n<li>When donating blood, only disposable material is used and the donor is protected from infection;<\/li>\n<li>Donating blood is absolutely safe for health;<\/li>\n<li>Blood donation is recommended in the first half of the day;<\/li>\n<li>It is better to eat lightly and drink sweet tea in the morning on the day of blood donation. You should refrain from taking tobacco and analgesics;<\/li>\n<li>Blood can be donated again after 2 months;<\/li>\n<li>Bring a proof of identity card with you.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Time:<\/strong>\u00a011:00-16:00<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Natalia Kvantaliani Central Blood Bank &#8211; Building A of Iliauni.
