Storage of green hydrogen and its use for balancing the grid may lead to a substantial increase in the share of renewable energy to replace fossil fuels and the related pollutant emissions. Engaging in the international leadership race in this regard, EU and many countries worldwide have developed comprehensive strategies and action plans and allocated huge financial resources to support technological research and development of policies and business processes.<\/p>\n<p>The so-called green hydrogen will make the topic of the seminar. The presentations will draw on the latest evidence to discuss the following issues:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hydrogen production, storage, transportation and utilization technologies;<\/li>\n<li>Use of hydrogen in transport, industry and energy sectors;<\/li>\n<li>Supporting the development of green hydrogen and renewable energy;<\/li>\n<li>Green hydrogen development: global processes and trends;<\/li>\n<li>Prospects of hydrogen in Georgia \u2013 its potential role in increasing energy and economic security.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>About the Presenters<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Murman Margvelashvili<\/strong>,\u00a0ISU Associate Professor in Sustainable Development and Energy Research, \u00a0Director of the Institute<\/li>\n<li><strong>Davit Jogiashvili,<\/strong> ISU Mater Student and WEG Junior Researcher<\/li>\n<li><strong>Davit Otarashvili\u00a0<\/strong>(H2exagOn (France)), Managing Partner<\/li>\n<li><strong>Giorgi Chikovani<\/strong>,\u00a0CEO\u00a0at the\u00a0Georgian Energy\u00a0Development\u00a0Fund<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Duration:<\/strong>\u00a01.5 hour<br \/>\n<strong>Language:\u00a0<\/strong>Georgian<br \/>\nFormat:\u00a0an online session via Zoom platform.
