Andreas Arndt will try to discuss the notion of recognition in a modern context, and will make it applicable to different economic fields as well.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Regarding the Speaker<\/strong><br \/>\nAndreas Arndt is a professor of philosophy of the faculty of theology at Humboldt University of Berlin and a head of Friedrich Schleiermacher Research Department of Science Academy of Berlin and Brandenburg. From 1977 to 1979, he was a member of the team studying Marx\u2019s philosophy. Having written his thesis about Karl Marx and his theory &#8211;\u201cKarl Marx: Versuch \u00fcber den Zusammenhang seiner Theorie\u201d in 1985, two years late, in 1987, he received habilitation at the Free University of Berlin. Andreas Arndt also performed professional activities at Theological Seminary in Berlin and the University of Jena.
