SUMMARY:ABITOUR-JOINT SCHOLARSHIP COMPETITION BY ILIAUNI BUSINESS SCHOOL AND FORBES
DESCRIPTION:Ilia State University Business School\, together with the most popular business magazine Forbes\, will hold a business idea competition for university entrants called aBItour. \nIf you are innovative and creative\, can negotiate challenges\, are ready to work hard\, believe in your abilities\, and if you are taking the United National Examination this year with the intention of specializing in Business Administration in the future\, do not miss this opportunity. \nWhy? \nParticipation in the project will enable you to: \n✔ get more information on business education and the future profession to make a right choice; \n✔ gain knowledge to formulate business ideas and present them\, develop required skills and be ready to do business; \n✔ get to know people with interests similar to yours and generate creative and innovative ideas together with them to start your business; \n✔ Get a scholarship voucher and fund your studies. \nHow to participate in the project? \nIf you are taking the United National Examinations in 2018 and are interested in participating in the project\, fill out a simple registration form not later than May 6\, and we will contact you. \nTo fill in the registration form\, follow the link: https://goo.gl/Qe1KmK \nWhen will the competition be held? \nThe competition will comprise 3 stages: \n\nAt the first stage candidates will be selected; for this purpose\, they will have to do practical tasks with no prior knowledge required\, since it just checks candidates’ business acumen\, creativity and skills required for doing business. The selection stage will be held on May 13.\nThe second stage involves acceleration (preparation of candidates for the next stage)\, dividing the participants into groups and formulation of business ideas; this stage will be held on May 16-18.\nThe third stage\, which is voluntary and involves meetings with professional mentors as well as getting further consultations to do tasks\, will be held on 2-3 June.\nThe final stage of the competition\, at which candidates will present their business ideas and the winning team will be selected\, will be held on June 9.\n\nPrizes \n✔ First place – each member of the winning team will be awarded a 1000 GEL scholarship voucher by Ilia State University *; \n✔ Second place – each member of the team having been ranked second will be awarded a 650 GEL scholarship voucher *; \n✔ Semifinalists – all semi-finalists will visit the Creative Camp and spend three days in the hotel of Iliani; in the camp\, in the informal and comfortable environment\, successful people will share their experience with them in the field of business. \nOur partner companies will award the participants with different prizes. \nMedia partners of the project are: \nThe most popular business magazine Forbes and TV programme Business Morning. \nIliauni wishes you success. \n*Conditions for using scholarship voucher \n\nYou will have an access to your scholarship voucher awarded at Business Idea Competition aBItour\, if you get enrolled at Bachelor’s programme at the Business School of Ilia State University;\nA scholarship voucher will also be granted in the event of getting a 100% state scholarship at the United National Examination. DESCRIPTION:On April 13\, at 16:00\, at room C317 of Ilia State University\, a public lecture on the topic “Russian Worlds in Baltics: the Case of Russophone Communities in Estonia” will be conducted. The lecture will be led by Andrey Makarychev\, who serves as invited professor at the Johan Skytte Institute of Political Studies at the University of Tartu and The Center for Global Politics of Free University of Berlin. \nThe lecture will focus on the issue of the Russian speaking population in the EU member countries\, including Baltic States. DESCRIPTION:On April 14\, at 17:00\, at Ilia State University Book House Ligamus\, The Institute of Linguistic Studies of Ilia State University and Mobile and Web Applications Laboratory GeoLab are inviting you to the discussion 100 Years Jubilee of the National Language: Future of the Georgian Language in the Era of Technology and Globalization. \nSpeakers will present the main issue of discussion from different perspectives: how much the public comprehends its responsibility to Georgian as an official language and how this paramount responsibility is replaced with the tradition of respecting the Georgian language for which the foundation was laid by the historic event of April 14. \nSpeakers will focus on the issues as follows: \n\nScript as a type of communication and the Georgian script in modern technologies. New initiatives and projects to preserve the Georgian script and develop it;\nGeorgian and the foreign language textual inheritance (Urartian\, Aramaic\, Jewish\, Greek\, etc.) preserved in Georgia in the digital era;\nHow the world is being developed from the natural language modeling perspective\, modeling of the Georgian language and its significance in the era of technology;\nGeorgian language robots/bots and their role in communication;\nGeorgian language digital educational resources to get quality education.\n\nThe discussion will present less known facts for public from historic events of 1918\, namely\, the Ordinance on Nationalization of Schools and Institutions\, which was published in 1918 and thanks to which Georgian as a national language started to exist legally. \nIn the discussion will be involved: Sandro Asatiani\, Nino Doborjginidze\, Giorgi Vakhtangishvili\, Tamar Kalkhitashvili\, Irina Lobjanidze\, Akaki Razmadze\, and Zura Jishkariani. \nDate and time: 14 April\, 17:00 \nVenue: Book House Ligamus (Chavchavadze Ave. N32)\, Ilia State University. \nAll are welcomed to attend the event. \n  \n\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n		\n\n[wpai_display_imported_files_here]
