DESCRIPTION:In 2017\, Georgia marks the 180th anniversary of Ilia Chavchavadze\, Great Georgian Writer and Public Figure\, who was treacherously killed in September 12\, 1907\, i.e.\, 110 years have passed since this ominous day. \nIlia State University (ISU) declares the year of 2017 as the year of Ilia Chavchavadze and plans to pay homage to him by offering the Georgian public a number of interesting projects\, events and contests\, such as: \nthe cycle of public lectures “Ilia’s Legacy” \nFrom February 3\, 19:00\, on Fridays\, at Ilia State University Book House “Ligamus \nFebruary 3\, panel discussion on the topic “Ilia’s Legacy.” \nThe contest for young directors \nOn the initiation of ISU\, the contest will be held to discover a young film director who will stage a performance on the leitmotifs of Ilia Chavchavadze’s literary legacy. \nAny further details regarding the contest will be placed on the university webpage in the immediate future. \nThe International Conference on Ilia Chavchavadze \nOn the initiation of Comparative Literature Institute of ISU\, the conference will be held in fall 2017. \nCreating a virtual of model of Literature-Memorial Museum of Ilia Chavchavadze \nThe project is underway (VR LabIliauni) \nThe cycle of video lectures on Ilia Chavchavadze \nWithin the framework of the project “Online Iliauni\,” the cycle of illustrated video lectures will be prepared \nThe contest for Schoolchildren. \nAny further details regarding the contest will be placed on the university webpage in the immediate future. \nThe Interactive Webpage \nThe project is underway. \nThe information on the planned events will be updated regularly. \n\n			\n				\n			\n		\n\n[wpai_display_imported_files_here]
