DESCRIPTION:Employment Agency HR conducts annual employment forum in Tbilisi and Batumi in April 2014 (Tbilisi -April 4\, Batumi – April 11). \nLocal and international companies that operate in Georgia will be present on the forum; their representatives will directly interview applicants. A presentation for this event will be held in Ilia State University on March 24\, 5 p.m. Students will be able to learn the list of companies present at the forum and vacancies that these companies will interview for\, during the forum. Forum process details will also be discussed. Additionally\, students will have an opportunity to fill in the application forms for a database that will be sent to organizations. These organizations will be able to contact students for future vacancies. \nPresentation details: March 24\, 5 p.m. hall A101. Fairy-tale adventurers will learn about a tale written by wonderful Swedish author\, Sven Nordqvist. The story is about funny adventures of a jolly old man Petsson and his smart cat\, Findus. Sven Nordqvist’s “Pettson and Findus” is illustrated by the author himself. Children will listen to the fairy-tale and look at the illustrations. SUMMARY:MDF and GDI Students Discussion
DESCRIPTION:Media Development Foundation (MDF) and Georgian Democratic Initiative (GDI) presents discussion around the topic “Opposing Xenophobia and Discrimination in Georgian Politics and Media”\, on March 26\, 5 p.m. Ilia State University hall E 207. \nDiscussion is held in the scope of “No to Phobia” campaign and follows media monitoring presentation. It is lead by MDF chairman Tamar Kintsurashvili\, executive director of this foundation\, Tamar Khorbaladze and human rights law specialist and GDI member\, Giorgi Mshveniaradze. \nMDF and GDI implement the project “Opposing Xenophobia and Discrimination in Georgian Politics and Media” in scope of program “Enhancing National Integration in Georgia”\, with the financial aid of UNA Georgia and USAID. \nThe aim of the project is to unite civil sector to oppose xenophobia and discrimination and develop united civil platform – “No to Phobia”.
