SUMMARY:PPRTC official launch event
DESCRIPTION:PPRTC official launch event was held at 11 March at ISU.  PPRTC is the part of ISU MPA Program and is one of the first university-based think tanks in Georgia seeks to engage and coordinate academic personal\, public and NGO representatives in targeted public policy research and training programs. PPRTC is established through the EWMI-G-PAC grant funds. \nISU Rector Giga Zedania\, USAID Mission Director Stephen Haykin\, Deputy Minister of Defense Tamuna Karosanidze\, EWMI G-PAC Chief of Party Marc Lassman\, and MPA Program Director Archil Abashidze spoke at the launch event. The speakers emphasized the PPRTC’s role in bringing together stakeholders from government\, civil society\, and academia to share knowledge and expertise to improve policy debate. \nThe launch event also included a short ceremony in which the first graduates of the PPRTC’s public training program on the SPSS received certificates for completing the course. Further\, another similar training class has already begun. \nThe launch event was attended by the representatives of public and NGO sector. \n\n			\n				\n			\n		\n\n[wpai_display_imported_files_here]

DESCRIPTION:Presentation of comparative literature collection will be held in Ilia Stat University bookstore Ligamus\, on March 19\, 6 p.m. \nComparative literature collection has become Ilia State University annual publication. The first\, 2013\, collection includes 34 scientific articles prepared by Georgian and foreign researches\, for the university –organized scientific conferences and seminars. \nThis collection covers the following topics: comparative literature and modernity; literature\, politics\, ideology; philological and interdisciplinary research; literature\, investigation\, process. \nSince Georgian scientific society is interested in comparative literature\, we have the ability to diversify intercultural literary research and thus overcome cultural blockade; view the world and Georgian cultural and literary reality from a more unobstructed position; research Georgian literature  like we research world literature\, to perceive\, review and connect literary and cultural\, civil and political processes; share the thought and cultural experience that helps other countries cope with traumatic past in modern cultural and social reality; find ways to reintegrate Georgian culture into contemporary world. \nConsequently\, comparative literature\, as a discipline\, can play an important role in Georgian scientific\, cultural and civil space. \n\n			\n				\n			\n		\n\n[wpai_display_imported_files_here]
