DESCRIPTION:On June 20\, 15:00\, Ilia State University will host a presentation of the research “Aerated Drinks Market – Tbilisi” prepared by Iliauni Business Review (IBR). \nVenue: G.Tsereteli 2\, Ilia State University Hall G 106 \nThe research aims to reveal the most popular brand producing aerated drinks. The research was conducted from June 1 to 10\, in the fifteen markets of “Populi” network and covered eleven regions of Tbilisi. \nThe fixed preferences of 65-75 people at each market object were studied under the research. The research doesn’t cover the number of sold products\, but highlights the consumer preferences. \nThe following 14 brands were studied in frames of the research: Coca-Cola\, Fanta\, Sprite\, Pepsi\, Mirinda\, 7 Api\, Lipton\, Natakhtari\, Zandukeli\, Zedazeni\, Shkhefi\, Iberia\, Laghidze\, Kazbegi. \nThe results are grouped according to the popularity of brands and sexual structure. DESCRIPTION:On June 7\, 15:00\, Professor Laura Adams\, Director of Program on Central Asia and the Caucasus at Harvard University Davis Center\, will deliver a public lecture on “UNESCO and the Politics of Intangible Cultural Heritage” \nVenue: 32\, Chavchavadze Ave. Hall A 101 \nAt the beginning of the current century\, Georgian polyphony was awarded the title of “Masterpieces of Oral and Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity” through the program initiated by UNESCO. \nWithin the framework of this program\, Prof. Adams is conducting the comparative research on the importance of the globalization of local cultural heritage. Some of the human viruses were developed million years ago; some of them have just been released. Rubin is a Professor of Public Administration and Economics at John Jay College of the City of New York where she teaches courses in Fiscal Policy\, Economics and Research Methods and is Director of the College’s MPA Program. Dr. Rubin is currently a member of the Economic Advisory Board to the New York State Assembly Ways and Means Committee and the Property Tax Advisory Board to the New York City Department of Finance. She has authored several publications on fiscal policy and budget-related issues.
