SUMMARY:THE YEAR OF ILIA CHAVCHAVADZE – PANEL DISCUSSION ON “ILIA’S LEGACY”
DESCRIPTION:In 2017\, Georgia marks the 180th anniversary of Ilia Chavchavadze\, Great Georgian Writer and Public Figure\, who was treacherously killed in September 12\, 1907\, i.e.\, 110 years have passed since this ominous day. \nIlia State University (ISU) declares the year of 2017 as the year of Ilia Chavchavadze and plans to pay homage to him by offering the Georgian public a number of interesting projects\, events and contests. \nInformation on the planned events will be regularly updated. \nOn February 3\, 19:00\, the cycle of public lectures will start by panel discussion “Ilia’s Legacy” at ISU Book House Ligamus. \nThe participants of panel discussion are as follows: \n➢ Bela Tsipuria\, philologist and professor at ISU \n➢ Giga Zedania\, philosopher and lecturer at ISU \n➢ Giorgi Kadagidze\, economist and professor at ISU \n➢ Emzar Jgerenaia\, sociologist and professor at ISU \n➢ Lasha Bakradze\, historian and professor at ISU \n➢ Levan Gigineishvili\, philosopher and professor at ISU \n➢ Nino Doborjginidze\, philologist and professor at ISU \n➢ Ketevan Devdariani\, script writer \nDate and time: 3 February\, 19:00 \nVenue: Book House Ligamus (Ilia Chavchavadze Ave.\, #32)\, ISU \nAll are welcome to attend the event. \nImportant information: Ligamus area is fully adapted. \n\n			\n				\n			\n		\n\n[wpai_display_imported_files_here]

DESCRIPTION:Ilia State University (ISU) starts information meeting tour in the regions of Georgia. SUMMARY:MEETING WITH ADAM DINGLE AT ILIAUNI THEATRE
DESCRIPTION:On February 16\, at 19:00\, on the initiative of Startup Grind Tbilisi\, a meeting will be conducted with senior software engineer of Google and the graduate of the universities of Princeton and Berkeley\, Adam Dingle. \nAt the meeting\, the speaker will answer the questions from the audience instead of delivering a lecture and by doing so will make the event more prolific. The audience will be enabled to get to know Mr. Dingle in an unofficial atmosphere and ask different questions to him. \nIn order to attend the lecture\, please register beforehand (follow the link: www.startupgrind.com/tbilisi.) \nRegarding Adam Dingle \nAdam Dingle is a software engineer with a vast experience in this field. In 1994-1996\, he taught computer sciences at Charles University\, Prague. In 2002-2006\, he served as a senior software engineer in Google\, which\, when he was there\, considerably expanded and became an employer of 550-9000 people. Mr. Dingle contributed to the development of the products such as Desktop\, Firefox\, Chrome\, and Google Toolbar. \nLater Adam Dinge embarked on his own Startup by founding Parking Hero and Yorba Foundation and Roundtown afterwards. He assisted Yorba Foundation in developing products such as Shotwell\, photo manager and the integration system for Ubuntu\, as well as e-mail service for Geary and Linux. He also contributed to laying the foundation for student project NetBeans\, which he led at Charles University.
