SUMMARY:The Seminar for Journalists at Ilia State University
DESCRIPTION:On August 16-18 the seminar “Media Coverage of Influenza and Natural Disasters” will be held. The seminar is organized by Ilia State University\, “International Broadcasting Bureau” and “Resource Centre for NGOs”. \nThe aim of the seminar is journalistic practice and use of new media means preparation of the reports about the emergency situations. The seminar will be led by Georgian and American experts. The training is designed for journalists\, editors\, journalism lecturers and trainers. \nThirty participants from Tbilisi and the regions: Kakheti\, Adjara\, Samegrelo\, Guria\, Inner Kartli\, and Imereti will attend the training. Furthermore\, the employees of the National Center of Disease Control and Public Health will attend the seminar. \nThe press attaché of United States of America Jeremy Richart will speak at the seminar on August 17. Moreover\, Professor Dan Ratz the employee of the Country Office of US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will be speaking. \n\n			\n				\n			\n		\n\n[wpai_display_imported_files_here]
