SUMMARY:NOVEL HYPOTHESIS OF ORIGIN OF LIFE: QUADRUPLEX WORLD
DESCRIPTION:University’s Faculty of Natural Sciences and Medicine and Senior Researcher in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the Ohio State University (USA)\, will present a seminar titled “A New Hypothesis of the Origin of Life: A Quadruplex World.” \nOverview of the Topic: \nThe widely accepted RNA world hypothesis for the origin of life is paradoxical and struggles to address critical questions without contradicting the principle of evolutionary continuity. In this seminar\, the speaker will introduce an alternative hypothesis – the quadruplex world. This hypothesis transforms the origin of life into a fully analyzable scientific issue\, offering explanations for (1) the emergence of primitive life forms\, (2) the development of Darwinian evolution\, and (3) the gradual transformation of these life forms into contemporary biology – all while upholding the principle of evolutionary continuity. \nReferences: \n[1] Kankia B. 2021.
