DESCRIPTION:On May 6\, at 17:00\, the guest speaker to open the Alumni Talks will be Giorgi Gvalia\, Professor of politics and international relations at ISU. Having worked for years in various administrative positions at the university\, Giorgi currently is Vice Rector for Teaching. He earned his doctoral degree in Political Sciences from ISU in 2013. \nThe speaker will share his story as a former ISU doctoral student. He will talk about his path to success and the challenges PhD students may face during their many-year research work.
