SUMMARY:PUBLIC LECTURE BY ANDREY MAKARYCHEV\, PROFESSOR AT UNIVERSITY OF TARTU
DESCRIPTION:On April 13\, at 16:00\, at room C317 of Ilia State University\, a public lecture on the topic “Russian Worlds in Baltics: the Case of Russophone Communities in Estonia” will be conducted. The lecture will be led by Andrey Makarychev\, who serves as invited professor at the Johan Skytte Institute of Political Studies at the University of Tartu and The Center for Global Politics of Free University of Berlin. \nThe lecture will focus on the issue of the Russian speaking population in the EU member countries\, including Baltic States. Cultural\, geopolitical and security related dimensions of the issue\, as well as discourses\, narratives and ideas widespread in the Russian speaking societies\, including the Russian speaking communities’ attitude to right-wing populism\, will be discussed. \nLanguage: English \nDate and time: 16:00 \nVenue: C317 room (Chavchavadze N32)\, Ilia State University \nAll are welcome to attend the event. \n\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n		\n\n[wpai_display_imported_files_here]
