SUMMARY:PRESENTATION OF CENTER FOR MEMORY STUDIES OF THE CAUCASUS AT ILIA STATE UNIVERSITY
DESCRIPTION:On April 12\, at 12:00\, at Ilia State University Book House Ligamus\, a presentation of the research report regarding the problems of the refugees was held. \nThe report was drafted within the framework of the research projects “Being a Hostage to the Past: Subdued Voices of Georgian Refugees and the Problem of Social Integration.” \nThe research project financed by the International Affairs Institute of Norway was accomplished by the research group of the Centre for Memory Studies of the Caucasus at Ilia State University. The research comprises the academic publication and the Policy Brief – “Rejecting Integration – Stigma as the bases of Troubled Existence.” The report is targeted at the Governmental and Non-governmental Organizations.\nThe research is focused on the problems of the integration of refugees into the society and aims to increase the involvement of the government as well as the public into the process. \nDate and Time: April 4\, 12:00\nVenue: Ilia State University Book House Ligamus\, Ilia Chavchavadze Avenue #32.\nAll were welcomed to attend the event. \n\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n		\n\n[wpai_display_imported_files_here]

DESCRIPTION:On 12 April\, at 19:00\, Iliauni’s Science Café invites you to the meeting with the Ilia State University Professor of the faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering\, Tinatin Kakhniashvili\, in room E 207 of Ilia State University. \nTopic of the Meeting: Gravitational Waves: window to the universe \nOn September\, 2015\, a breakthrough was made in the field of Astronomy and Gravitational Physics by the detection of gravitational waves on two detectors of Laser Interfometer Gravitational-wave Observatory (LIGO). This discovery has laid the foundation for the new era in Astronomy and Gravitational Physics – the Epoch of Gravitational-wave Astronomy. \nGravitational-wave Astronomy will give us an opportunity to observe the birth of the universe and look at its earliest moments.
