SUMMARY:Ilia State University Innovative Inventions Exhibition - participant registration
DESCRIPTION:Innovative Inventions Exhibition will be held on September 26\, 2015 for the first time in Georgia\, within the framework of the 4th science picnic organized by Ilia State University. \nInnovative inventions exhibition is a festival of art\, crafts\, engineering\, science projects and DYI that will gather technology enthusiasts\, inventors\, craftsmen\, engineers\, science club members\, authors\, artists\, professors\, students\, commercial exhibitions organizers\, seekers of interesting ideas and development and innovation lovers from all over Georgia in one day\, in one place. \nThis is a sight that will be interesting for any age group or people with various interests. \nFestival will have the format of exhibition and fair. \nIf you are interested in presenting your merchandise and inventions in front of a wider audience and take part in the September 26 th Ilia State University innovative inventions exhibition\, then fill in the registration form no later than September 1st\, 2015. \nRegistration form for participants \n\nParticipation in the Innovative inventions exhibition or in an exhibition and fair is available for individuals\, groups or organizations that have the desire to demonstrate their own inventions or merchandise at the innovative inventions exhibition.\nThose participants selected for the exhibition only will be exempted from paying participation fees;\nFor participants selected for exhibition and fair participation fee is 200 GEL;\nParticipants with scientific – education background\, pupils and students will be exempted from paying participation fees;\nIlia State University is providing opportunity for selected participants to work at the ISU industrial innovation lab to improve and develop their own ideas or to work on prototype creation.\nSeveral of the best participants of the Ilia State University innovative inventions exhibition will be awarded invention related prizes.\n\nFacts about the Science Picnic \nScience Picnic is the only large-scale science event in Georgia\, which promotes popularization of science in all age groups. \nIn 2012\, the ISU Science Picnic received 7 000 visitors; \nIn 2013\, the ISU Science Picnic became members of the European Association of scientific events (EUSEA) and received 13 000 visitors; \nIn 2014\, over 20 international and 60 Georgian science popularization interest groups participated in the Science Picnic and received 17 000 visitors; \nThis year\, innovative inventions exhibition will be held for the first time within the framework of the Science Picnic\, which will further increase both participants of international and local groups to and the overall number of visitors. \nContact Information \nTekle KapanadzeIlia State University Science Popularization Project Coordinator: tekle.kapanadze@iliauni.edu.ge577 57 55 46 \nAnna KvanchilashviliIlia State University Public Relations Departmentpr@iliauni.edu.ge \n\n			\n				\n			\n		\n\n[wpai_display_imported_files_here]

SUMMARY:Iliauni Science Picnic 2015
DESCRIPTION:Ilia State University is holding 4th Science Picnic. \nScience Picnic is one-day open air event that aims to present science in a fun and accessible way for audience of every age and every field. It is organized by Ilia State University and co-organized by Tbilisi City Hall.\n \nScience Picnic is the only large-scale event in Georgia that helps popularize science amongst every age category. \n\n2012 Iliauni Science Picnic had 7 000 visitors.\nThe event became part of European Science Events Association (EuSEA) in 2013; it had 13 000 visitors. The largest Game of Robots was important addition\, organized by Iliauni.\n60 Georgian and 20 foreign groups were registered for the Science Picnic 2014.  We had invited a world-renown animator for such events\, who moderated each activity and ensured active involvement of the visitors in the scientific events. Game of Robots was traditionally held in Science Picnic 2015. Event had more then 15 000 visitors.\n\nThis year\, during Science Picnic 2015\, we are going to organize first Maker’s Fair in Georgia. The event will gather together creators\, craftsmen\, and makers from different fields to share crafts\, products\, artifacts\, and knowhow with the general public. \nBased on the past experience\, we are expecting increased number of visitors. \nScience Picnic 2015 will be held 26 th of September\, 2015.\n \nIf you are interested in participation\, complete the Application Form and send it to following email: sciencepicnic@iliauni.edu.ge \nThe deadline for application is May 31. \nScience Picnic is a free of charge event that is open to general public\, schools\, universities\, NGOs\, government\, etc.\, that may be interested in science popularization and scientific shows\, presented during the event.
