Presentation of Larisa Burakova’s Book

On May 30, 16:00, Ilia State University Bookstore “Ligamus” will host a presentation of the book titled “Why it happened in Georgia” *(Почему У Грузии получилось) by Larisa Burakova. The book illustrates and describes economic policy and reforms have been implemented by the Government of Georgia since 2003 up to now.

The author proclaims: “My book contains direct narration and that is strange to the format of the manual. It was interesting to me to familiarize readers with the first-hand information from the main reformers and to experience them the feeling such as having face to face interaction with professionals.  The book starts out with talking to Mikheil Saakashvili. The construction of the narration is mainly determined by long duration talks with Kakha Bendukidze, one of the economic reformers of Georgia”.
